I am a military wife for over 21 years. Married to an amazing man who has brought many joys to my life. He's active duty in the Florida National Guard
after many years of active service. We have two awesome children that I adore. A son 17 and a daughter 7. I am a home school educator and very proud of it.
I've spent many years as a family readiness coordinator who helps soldiers and families during depolyments. I'm proud to be a military wife and I'm
a very proud Mom!
Our son's passion is racing dirt bikes, so we've spent a lot of time at the track. He's recently been accepted to UTI in Orlando upon graduating
high school in 2010. (Most appropriate for him) We've slowed down quite a bit the past several months, since we have to focus on his senior year and I
have to admit, I think my age has caught up with me. But, that's okay! I'm settling into it. I've recently realized how much I've missed in
my own interests...such as music, movies, people. So, I'm enjoying some of that now and have found that the internet is quite intersting in finding what I
need in my slower pace. While also still holding that crown of the dutiful wife and mother. LOL.
My hope is to find new friends with common interests who are kind and generous with their sense of humor. I need to laugh, I love to laugh. Life can be so
serious at times, but when someone puts a smile on your face, it just makes the serious stuff not so serious for a short while.
If anyone reads this...thanks for taking the time. And welcome to my world!
I love music, country, pop, gospel, classical...My favorite singers are Josh Groban, Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Faith Hill, Martina McBride and well lets face
it...I have a 7 y/o daughter...I listen to Taylor Swift, Miley Stewart, Salina Gomez, the Jonas Brother. I do like southern rock. Everything in moderation
though. There's plenty of room for it all.
Favorite TV Shows:
Army Wives, CSI, NCIS.
